Q. Do psychics believe in God?
A. I can not speak for all psychics but as for me and my circle of friends; yes we do. This may be hard for some hard core fundamentalists to accept. In the past I can remember one occasion where I was out and out attacked in the press by a very devout minister in Renfrew Ontario named Chris Holmes. It prompted me to write a rebuttal letter and have it published explaining my views on psychics and the bible. For those interested, it can be found HERE
Also, for those who wish, you can view my three favorite books of the bible: The Song of Solomon, Psalms chapters 1-50, 51-100 and 101-150, also Genesis. Did you know that Psalms 117 only has TWO versus? Six lines.. that is it; Psalms 119 has 174 versus, c - r - a - z - y... I find the Song of Solomon slightly erotic, especially chapter 7; is it just me? I am not religious, I am spiritual; there is a difference. I do feel however that there are some books that make excellent teaching tools for values and conduct in society.
Q. Can psychics read for
themselves?
Q.
Why does the future sometimes
not come true?
Q.
Why do psychics always want to
dwell on your past in a reading?
A. Psychics dwell on your past in a reading for two main reasons. The first reason is that if a psychic cannot tell you your past, then they have no business going into the future. Think about it for one minute… How do you know that the psychic is not making up stories about your future and just ripping you off for your hard earned money? If they are that psychic that they can see accurately into your future, should they not be able to tell you at least one thing that you know and they don’t? Can you really be sure they are not babbling if they cannot say ‘this is something that HAS happened to you’ before they say ‘this is something that will happen’? Don’t go into a psychic reading with specific expectations either however. Psychic energy is not like a switch, psychics cannot just snap our fingers and say “give me the answer to this one specific detail NOW…” (Life should be so easy…) Sometimes these are the expectations that our clients come to a session with. There are those who go into psychic readings with the attitude ‘if this person is really psychic then they will pick up on [whatever their own agenda is] right away’ and they may sit through an entire reading and receive so much guidance and direction, but in the end be disappointed because they put their quarter in the juke box and the wrong song came out. Even though the whole reading was accurate, these types of people will never see it, or hear the words of wisdom and guidance that WAS meant for them. (Sometimes we are not meant to know the answer…) Quite frankly, psychics do not like to read for those types of people. Myself personally, I will cut them right off at the pass with something like “I can’t pick up on you” and send them home without charging them the minute I sense they are anal. It is a small price for me to pay in order to buy them out of my life, albeit I am not surprised why they feel like they need direction. (They are too blind to see) Getting back to my original point… Don’t go in expecting an exact specific thing, just go in assuming that the psychic has the ability to see SOMETHING that you know and they don’t before they start going into the future.
The second reason why psychics will dwell on your past is confirmation for us. Tuning into your past lets the psychic know that they are picking up accurately, it is human nature to second guess what you see in your minds eye, professional or not. If a psychic has told you something about your past and you have confirmed that it is accurate, then it enables the psychic to relax more when concentrating on your future as the confirmation that his/her vision is correct has been established. Seeing where you come from in order to establish where you are going is the natural order of things in a psychic reading as well as in life.
Q. What is Richard Ravenhawke the person like?
A. For those of you who would like to get to know 'me', let's see...
I love languages and accents. I find them very attractive in people and am amazed by the diversity that the world has to offer. Among my two favorite languages are French and believe it or not Chinese because of all their clever proverbs.
I love music and have been playing guitar for longer than I have been a psychic. Give me a choice of only one, a stereo or a TV and the stereo will win hands down any day.
I also love to cook. The kitchen is my favorite room in the whole house and I make all of my pasta sauces right from scratch. Some of my Italian friends have even told me that my sauces are better than their mother's (although I am sure they would never tell thier mothers that... yikes!)
My Spiritual path is that of Native Indian Spirituality although I accept all paths and love to learn new teachings and traditions.
My favorite book is "A brief History of Everything" by Ken WIlbur.
My Favorite movie is "What Dreams May Come" with Robin WIlliams.
My favorite person: My baby boy Quinn. I only see him once a week, but he is the absolute love of my life above all else.
My favorite food is steak. To me it is a natural part of the food chain. I eat cows; cows don't eat people. Lions eat people; I am not interested in eating a lion. Are you??
My favorite online game is Everquest although I have heard that Warcraft is fun as well.
My favorite color is Azure, favorite number is 11 and my birthday is February 3
My favorite joke: If you fart in church, you are sitting in your own 'pew'
So there you have it, a little bit about Richard Ravenhawk as a person. Maybe we have some of the same favorites...
