Reiki Energy Therapy

        Reiki is a Japanese health therapy that can be an excellent compliment to most other health therapies. Reiki is also currently recognized by MOST insurance companies and benefit plans as a velid therapy.

        Reiki is based on channeled energy and sacred symbols with very little touching.

        Reiki is emotional release work which is why it has benefits physically. We store emotions in our muscles and organs, through Reiki energy, these emotions can be pulled out through a series of treatments promoting general overall health and well being.

        Energy is pulled out and rebalanced through working with the chakras and your bodies natural energy flow. Through a series of prayers, visualizations and symbols, the practitioner is able to treat most conditions, especially those that are emotionally based. While Reiki is not a cure for anything, the benefits that come from its workings can only facilitate healing on emotional and spiritual levels to compliment any other path of the recipients choosing.

Reiki Sessions

      A Reiki session is approximately one hour in length and consists of a brief preliminary interview with first time recipients. As well, a brief discussion period at the end of the session concerning your energies and what was felt and experienced by both the practitioner, as well as the recipient. The cost of a session is $50.00 and sessions are booked monthly (an average of about $12.50 per week, not even $2.00 per day for your health) To book a session contact me. 

Reiki Classes

        I prefer to teach Reiki ONE on ONE with people so as to give them individual attention; my busy schedule does not always allow room for formal workshops. I have a direct lineage back to Dr. Usui, which is VERY important when it comes to giving validity to your craft and where you learned it. A direct lineage back to Dr. Usui connects you to the source of Reiki itself, you will also be part of this lineage once you achieve your Reiki Masters, which takes approximately one year if pursued diligently. Dr. Mikao Usui is the originator of the original Usui Reiki Ryoho. 

        Reiki is learned in 3 levels. Reiki level 1, Reiki level 2 and Reiki Masters which is also your teachers level. In modern versions of Reiki, some schools have split up the level 3 into two, creating Reiki level 3 and THEN Reiki Master/Teacher. Dr. Usui in his original system never meant it to be this way as in the original system there are just three levels. Call me old school, but I am a traditionalist, besides, it saves you money not having to go the fourth step which for the most part is unnecessary when you can do it all in one step. 

        The cost for Reiki levels 1 and 2 is $450.00 and this includes your manuals, certificates and attunements. The cost for Reiki Masters is $800.00 and includes the same. During the time period from level 2 to Master/teacher I communicate with you regularly and help you promote. Also, additional attunements anytime you feel necessary are free of charge; all you need is one however.

Karuna Reiki

        Karuna Reiki can only be taught to those who already have their Reiki Masters in Usui Reiki. Karuna is Tibetan in origin and consists of two levels: Karuna Master level 1 and Karuna Master level 2. Each level is more involved and detailed than regular Usui Reiki and there are almost triple the symbols which have to be mastered and memorized. 

        As a Karuna Master also I can teach and give attunements for Karuna Reiki. Karuna also has a governing body as opposed to Usui which only has scattered man made governing bodies that are self proclaimed and not necessarily tied to Dr. Usui even though individual members may be. The governing body of Karuna is run by its founders and you must be a member to be recognized. Far more formal and detailed than Usui Reiki, it is the next step on your healing path when you are ready.

        The cost for Usui Master level 1 is $750.00 and includes your manuals which come directly from head office, your attunements and certificates for which you will get an official gold seal from head office endorsing your training, qualification and expertise.  The cost for Usui Master level 2 is $900.00 and includes your manuals which come directly from head office, your attunements and certificates for which you will get an official gold seal from head office endorsing your training, qualification and expertise. Excerpts from the psychic development manual as well as the Manuals that come with Reiki levels one and two can be found HERE.
